5 Habits you should not take to your work place

Stand
Do not live by the mentality that sitting is the only way you can work. It isn’t.
You have probably heard that remaining sited for a longer period of time harms your health. Make occasional stand ups after every 30 minutes and walk after every one and half hour.
There are some tasks such as taking phone calls that do not need you to be sited for you to handle them. This is important because it boosts cardio metabolic health and prevents deep vein thrombosis. Walking also has the effect of improving ones attentiveness.
Take the Stairs
Do not be addicted to the elevator.
Elevators in most buildings are placed at strategic places where people of all kinds, including the physically challenged can use. However, if it is not a mandatory, climb up the stairs. This will assist you to burn more calories and thus positively impact your health.
Eating time is eating time
Do not multitask while you are eating.
Eating without paying attention leads you to eating so fast that you end up consuming more calories. Thus, it is wise to eat while you are paying attention. Do not eat at your work desk. Most working people are known to eat in restaurants. But that can change if you could simply bring in snacks from home. This will go a long way in helping you make better choices regarding what you are eating.
Prioritize healthy meals
Do not be so quick to consume unhealthy foods.
Have you ever noticed how junky food is strategically positioned in a grocery? Or how candy is made to be eye-catchy? Be sure to hide the unhealthy foods in opaque containers so that you are not tempted to eat them.
Not eating junky foods will assist you and your co-workers to feel better. Healthy foods reduce on extra calories and provide nutritional benefits.
Do not pile up the papers
Procrastination is the worst thing you can do at your work place. The more you keep pushing forward some planned tasks, the more you will be harming yourself.
File paperwork immediately it comes in. This lets you be organized and avoid too much confusion.
