As a result of Donald Trump’s executive order that restricts entry for nationals of seven Muslim-majority countries, Google has decided to recall all its travelling staff members back to the United States.

While speaking to BBC, Google said that it was worried the Executive Order may prevent the US from getting talent other nations.
The implication of the order is that thousands of citizens from Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Syria, Iran and Iraq will not board US flights. That ban is applicable to even those in possession of the “green card.”
While praising the orders, Mr. Trump said that they would assist block radical Islamic terrorists from accessing the US.
Outcry
But rights groups have complained, saying that Syrian refugees can in no way be associated with terrorism in the United States or anywhere else.
There are already reports of travelers from the countries targeted being turned away as they try to board flights to the US.
But Mr Trump is not in this alone because he has received support from some Republicans. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan welcomed the move saying that the order would vet the Visa issuance process.
The policy is also applicable to visiting relatives.
In a Facebook post, Mohammed al-Rawi – an Iraqi journalist said that his father got turned away from a Los Angeles-bound flight in Qatar.
As a result of the new policy, the residents are receiving hundreds of calls with questions of how they are fairing on, reports Pro Publica.
But Mr. Trump will not remain unchallenged since the Council on American Islamic Relations has plans of filing a law suit in court.
Similarly, Silicon Valley is in fear. Most of the employees here are of non-US origin.
Among the top technologists to raise concerns is Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Through a lengthy post on his social media site, Zuckerberg said he, just like most Americans, is a descendant of immigrants.
