Freddie Stroma is an English actor and model born on 8th January 1987 in London, England. He has two ancestries – Swedish and German. Some of the films that he is widely known for are the Harry Potter film series where he portrays Cormac McLaggen and also in the musical comedy film: Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, directed by Luke in 2012. He has also had the lead role in UnREAL a dramedy series taking the character of Adam Cromwell. Apart from these, he has appeared in 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Bemghazi a 2016 production. Within the same year, he also took the character of Dickon Tarly Game of Thrones season six, a HBO fantasy drama series. His future even looks brighter as he is scheduled for an upcoming ABC series Time After Time.
Freddie Stroma is the son of a computer industry executive of Swedish ancestry while his mother is of a German ancestry going by the name Crystal Sjöström. He attended Radley College, a public boys-only boarding based in Oxfordshire and graduated in 2005. He has a younger brother, Philipp Sjöström and an elder sister, Antonia Sjöström.
At the age of 16, Stroma joined the Great Britain’s National Youth Theatre. He has taken on several roles on Britain TV shows like Mayo (aka The Gil Mayo Mysteries) aired on BBC and Casualty. After graduating, he joined University College where he studied neuroscience but that did not him stop as he continued to work as an actor and model. But his performance career seem to interest him most and thus had to take off from campus for a year to focus on producing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. In this Harry Potter series, he took the role if Cormac McLaggen. When he was done with the filming, he went back to the University of London where he finished his degree. He graduated in 2009 with an upper-second-class degree in Neuroscience.

Stroma became a phenomenal star due to his performance in the Harry Potter series, having deferred his studies so that he could produce the series Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Upon graduating from the University of London, he joined the series once again continuing with his character Cormac McLaggen. He acted in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and then in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Parts 1 and 2.
Apart from Harry Potter film, a series based a book with the same name; Stroma has appeared in the thriller 220.127.116.11. He has also done phenomenal work in a DVD romantic movie A Cinderella: Once Upon A Time. In this, he is depicted as a Luke Morgan, a British student. In 2012, he got minor role on Pitch Perfect where he played the manager of a radio station at the local radio station. His career has continued to grow through 2014, 2015 and 2016, years that have seen him take lead roles in top movies shows like Everlasting, UnREAL – a show picked for the second time.
