In Part one of Top 5 Legend of Zelda Games, we looked at Link’s awakening as the top according to the Editor Edmond Tran. In this second part, we shall continue with our series and look at what Editor Alexa Ray has to say about the Legend of Zelda Games. Probably his views may different and will have a change of heart from the Link’s Awakening. Stay tuned to learn more.
- The Wind Waker
- Majora’s Mask
- Ocarina of Time
- Skyward Sword
- Twilight Princess
The Wind Waker does it for him. The first undeniable fact is the quality. The cartoonish style is something that is captivating. Wind Waker can be seen as a moving story book. Playing it gives you the feeling that you are listening to an ancient story. The final monologue by Ganon is something you cannot just bypass. It is for sure heart breaking.
The rest of his favorite games have equally grabbed his attention due to the characters and sentiments that are present in them. They are uniquely presented. In Twilight Princes, there is Midna who is Edmond‘s favorite player in the Link’s series.
Majora’s Mask has a creepy and unsettling premise. Ocarina of Time, on the other side, is just plain classic. However, it has a special way of instilling new ideas in a player while retaining a refreshing effect.
Skyward Sword also has a bad rap but one cannot deny the fact that it is refreshing too. One can get fresh ideas on how to handle preceding series that have built themselves out of repetition. He loves the five equally but when it comes to choosing one, he would go for The Wind Waker.
And there you have it. Having looked at the views of two game players, you can only conclude that individual players have their own personal opinions concerning the Legend of Zelda Games. The choice depends on the person playing the game.
