Clash of the Titans started off as a movie but was later on turned into a video game.
It is a 2010 video game having been designed for PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and BlackBerry. Its inspiration is derived from the same movie.
The various versions that were planned for it but later on cancelled are Nintendo DS, Wii and PlayStation Portable.
Hack and slash combat is featured in the game. Some of the fights come to completion after quick time sequences. Upgrading of weapons can be done by use of points. There are some sections in the game in which the players’ weapons are removed and they have to fight by hand.
The player has the option for both light and heavy attacks and can hold onto buttons so as to launch special attacks. The player can also wield bows, swords, bones and scorpion tails. There is health bars for the enemies to indicate the level of their health.
Game Republic developed the game while Namco Bandai Games did the publishing. Brash Entertainment was originally tasked with the role of publishing but Namco picked it up.
Clash of the Titans has a lot of content but most of it is repetitive and thus unable to hold your attention for long.
Also, you will not get a manual way to switch targets in lock mode. You can only rotate the camera to the next foe, release the trigger and hope that you will not find yourself snapping back to the previous enemy.
