According to the reports the Indian Cricket ODI format captain MS Dhoni and Ace batsmen Virat kohli are said to have informed the BCCI, to rest them from the Bangladesh tour which succeeds the ongoing Indian Premiere League[IPL]. Reports say that the duo were tired with the tiresome cricketing schedule, starting from the Australia test series followed by World Cup tournament to the ongoing IPL.
However, former India Batsmen Sunil Gavaskar suggested that Virat kohli must consider playing the lone Test match in the series at least, as he is the new reigning Test Captain after the sudden retirement of MS Dhoni from the Test Cricket during the Australia series.
Not only Kohli, a few more of the experienced cricketers including Dhoni might opt out of the series owing to fatigue, the NDTV Sports reports.
It will be interesting to see who leads India during the series in the absence of both Dhoni and Kohli. Suresh Raina emerges as a strong contender for the ODI captaincy but in the Test, it might be a toss-up between Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane.
India play a lone Test and three ODIs in Bangladesh. This is their first international outing since the ICC World Cup where they finished as semifinalists.
