United Kingdom’s Cardiologists have worked over a drug to repair the tear, caused to the heart during a Heart attack. One of the leading Cardiologists in UK said that the invention of the drug would revolutionize the medical world, as far as the Cardiology is concerned.
Professor Peter Weissberg, medical director of the British Heart Foundation (BHF) said ” We have made the background study for the drug to take a form, a few years back. Our study is all about inventing a drug that could awaken the cells of the Heart to repair itself”.
In the modern life styles of people, it has become quite common for the individuals to develop a Heart attack as early as in 30’s. Many of the these severe cases are well fought by the improved emergency services in the medical world. However, every stroke would weaken the vital organ causing it vulnerable to being fatal. Hence to decrease the chances of the damage caused by a Heart attack, the Cardiologists have been working for the wizard drug, The Times of India reports.
The Group of Cardiologists have reached a major milestone in this regard. They have successfully identified the potentials of the heart that are required for, forcing heart’s damaged muscle regeneration.
A senior Cardiologist researcher said, that they have been working on a mice experimentally. A mice has been tested for the regeneration capacity and it developed parts of heart when removed manually.
The experiments were carried on separetely at two universities in UK. If everything goes as expected, the drug is expected to revolutionise the medical science.
