As technology advances, humans start to become friends with bots more than it has ever happened. Microsoft during its Build developer’s conference ordered a pizza from a local outlet via bot.
Facebook has also announced that it will introduce a bot for its Messenger application to assist the users to make direct orders of gifts and flowers.
Perhaps it is still early to predict the bots that will go mainstream but one thing for sure is that Artificial Intelligence will replace the most roles of humans.
With developers polishing this synergy, bots could be deployed in more meaningful scenarios apart from just food ordering, customer support services or fight wars.
There is a bot in Japan that was able to outsmart humans in literature. Just considering that, think of a situation where citizens made bots out of bots. Is it possible for an AI to make a government of the people, for the people and by the people?
Programmed by citizens
For a bot to deliver, it needs to be programmed. If it is correctly disciplined and made free of burgs, then it can deliver the exact thing that the people want. Every member of the society has different expectation from the government. The bot will be able to respect this difference and then look into the needs of different people; working out the possible solution.
Imagine a government that is connected to the citizens 24/7 in real time via Twitter, and the various social networks out there. Bits have the capability of doing that. As much as people will remain to be the leaders, bots will help get the much needed agility in the system.
Work without regional bias
The bot will be able to serve the citizens without discriminating any based on regional location. It will not make errors such as order excess trucks of water to a region that has enough. It will be able to calculate how much subsidy does each state need.
Refrain from religion
Without disrespecting any religion, most people will agree that there should be a line of separation between politics and religion. The bots can be programmed not to be bias to one religion. In addition, it can be used in teaching the truth from the holy text, without modifying it to meet ones needs.
Less talk, more work
Politicians are known to talk more than they are working. They spend most of their time talking against their opponents. It is possible to program a bot to work only.
Like humans, bots can also get corrupt. However, bots can be fixed by adding a few lines of codes as they lack greed. As far as corruption is concerned, we all know artificial intelligence can drastically reduce scope of being corrupt.
No parliament disruptions
Bots do not tire and therefore you would not expect procrastination. Bills would be passed on time while new laws would be implemented as needed. The existing policies can be audited while computation of things would happen at a faster rate.
