Beluga whale upstages bride on wedding day and sparks hilarious memes

Abride was upstaged on her wedding day when she was photobombed by a very curious beluga whale.

The happy couple were tying the knot at an aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut, when the inquisitive animal swam over to see what all the commotion was about.

So when the minister asked if anyone had a reason why the couple should not be married, he probably wasn’t expecting a dramatic interruption from a photobombing beluga. Photoshop experts have had a lot fun with the image, which has racked up more than a million views on Imgur. It was captioned: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something Beluga.”

One user imagined what the whale could be thinking, captioning the photo: “I should have told her I loved her while I had the chance…Now she’s marrying my best friend.”
