One of the Chibok girls that had gone missing has been found in Nigeria. This is after a period of two years since the girls were arrested.
The girl, Amina Ali Nkeki, was found with a baby on Tuesday by a vigilante group that the military supports. She was at the Sambisa forest, a few kilometers from the Cameroon border.
In her company was a suspected Boko Haram member.
As it stands now, 218 girls that were kidnapped in April 2014 are yet to be found.
The Boko Haram militants abducted the girls.
The 19-year-old Amina is reported to have been recognized by Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) member. This is a militant group that the military put in place to assist in fighting Boko Haram. She was reunited by her mother briefly.
The Nigerian military has said that Amina had a husband, Mohammed hayatu, a suspected fighter for Boko Haram.
The man has been arrested and is now at the regional capital together with Amina and her baby where they are to undergo medical testing.
