NEW DELHI: The official website of the Antrix, a commercial arm of the ISRO, was hacked on Sunday. The officials confirmed the hack and said that there was some problem with the homepage of the website.
The news of the hack comes just two days after the successful launch of the ISRO’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C28) with five of the British’s satellites. This was the heaviest ever commercial mission successfully undertaken by the ISRO till date.
The ISRO officials have begun a probe over the hacking and further details are yet to be released.
Antrix is the commercial arm of ISRO, which looks after the marketing and promoting of the space products, technical consultancy services and transfer of the technologies developed by the ISRO, The TImes of India reports.
