A small plane has been reported to be crashed in the area of Iliamna in southern Alaska on Tuesday. Three were killed while several others were injured, as per the Alaska officials.
The Alaska Public safety department said that the Rescue teams were on ground and assisted the injured passengers. As per the inputs from the CNN, seven people have survived the plane crash in Alaska.
“Local doctors have been at the crash ground giving necessary first aid. Two out of the seven survived were being treated in the local hospital and the remaining five were transported to a higher hospital, as they required additional medical care”, Alaska Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Edward Eagerton said.
Megan Peters, with the department of public safety, identified the dead as Tony W. Degroot, 80, of Hanford, California; James P. Fletcher, 70, of Clovis, California; and James Specter, 69, of Shavertown, Pennsylvania, the CNN reported.
The national transportation and safety board of Alaska is set to investigate into the issue, as the reason for the crash was not immediately clear.
