A white suspicious pigeon, entered into the Indian territory from Pakistan, which contained to it a small card and a wire attached to its leg. The card contained a phone number and a piece of literature written in Urdu.
As per the Police of Pathankot, a village 4 kms away from the Pakistan border of the Punjab state, A white pigeon flew over from the Pakistan to the roof of a Barber Chandu. His son caught hold of the Avian species and having found the suspicious card attached to the bird, he approached the nearby by police station.
The Police examined the bird with a X-ray and did not find any suspicious content inside it. They have also informed about the suspicious bird to the IB and the BSF authorities. At present the bird is kept under the Police custody. Police are investigating into the mysterious card to find if it were a plot of the Terrorists, The Times of India reports.
The Punjab police have entered the bird into their diaries as “suspected spy”. The bird was caught at a time, when the Police officials are in meeting with Army chiefs over the security issues and the border combing.
Earlier similar spy bird was found in the Rajasthan state of India.
