With just days before we step into the month of September, the much anticipated iPhone 7 unveiling is on the way. As at the moment, more leaks are still cropping up, the latest being by 9to5mac.com and many others. A photo of the purported iPhone 6SE made rounds on the internet earlier this week but we cannot fully verify its authenticate its legitimacy.
A more convincing photo was the one published by Yeah in which Taiwanese pop star Jimmy Lin holds what seems to be a dual-lens iPhone 7. It is worth noting that Lin has in the past showed up in the public with iPhone items severally before they are launched officially. Without any contradiction, this phone he was spotted with had double-wide camera opening.
Nikkel Asian Review on the other hand released an incredible story in which they said that the upcoming iPhones will come in three sizes: 5.5 inches, a premium 5.5 inches that has a bent screen on the two sides and the 4.7 inches model.
The 4.7-inch and the 5.5-inch models will have a screen that we are all accustomed to while the third one will feature a screen curved on the sides, just like Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
All these expected adjustments are taking place at a time when analysts predict that Apple is likely to make changes to its iPhone lineup in 2017. The multi-billion company is expected to start using the AMOLED screen that is more advantageous than the currently used LCD screens. Some earlier reports had suggested that Apple may start using OLED displays by 2018.
The anticipated release schedule is yet to change. Hopes are high that Apple will launch iPhone 7 within the first week of September. Retail release will then follow in 16th or 23rd September. As at the moment, the countdown to iPhone 7 goes on…
