As per the reports, Electronics firm Samsung is reportedly working on a foldable smartphone,the World’s first of its kind. The new innovative smartphone is set to be released in January 2016.
Sources said that the smartphone is currently code-named as Project valley and is under testing conditions. The smartphone is currently being tested with two hardware configurations, one running a Snapdragon 620 processor and the other with a Snapdragon 820.
Other important specs of the Project valley includes 3GB RAM, a microSD slot and a non-removable battery. The huge amount of RAM and the powerful processor being used is expected to bring in more powerful smartphone experience.
Samsung has been at the top in the matters of manufacturing innovative gadgets. It produced the World’s first Super AMOLED smartphone in 2010 and also the World’s first dual-edge curved display with the Galaxy S6 Edge recently.
If Samsung does release a foldable smartphone soon, it may regain its position to lead the best smartphone seller race in India, the Independent reports.
