When you take a look at some of the potentially substandard sales of the Galaxy Note 9, you may ask yourself whether Samsung is prepared to update the range with new and attractive color and marketing push ahead of the festive seasons.
Evan Blass is the noted source of the new look. To his readers, Blass offered the image of Note 9 with a white peal colour, accompanied with a note meant for the Photoshop experts to take a closer look. The consensus is that this new look is a genuine one.
Now, it is very clear that Samsung is working their ways out by doing everything possible in order to boost the sales of Note 9, and their favoured tactic includes the new ‘special edition’ and colour scheme.
A good number of analysts claimed that the Galaxy Note 9 has not been performing to the expected standard as compared to Galaxy Note 8 that was released last year.
Currently, the target is estimated to be 12 million units, and this target is more than that of Note 8 by almost one million, and it is falling short. The growth in the value of the ‘additional extras’ that are offered at the point of sale could be explained by the above statement. But the suggestion by the latest report is that more is needed.
In the previous years, Samsung has been releasing its major handsets of different colours just after the initial launch period. This has become their habit. This trend of release has enables the Samsung die-hard fans to start building up the full collection.
The release trend is also tempting those who may have not purchased the handset in the first release to buy it- at the very least- taking another look at the latest hardware.
In the pre-release materials and murmurs, a white version of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was also evidenced. While there was no any definitive evidence, all the signs were pointing to a new version of phablet from South Korea hence making a debut in the near future.
It may be a white charismas for the fans of Note holding out!
Samsung’s Problems with the Note 9’s S-pen
There are some critical acclaim that Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but there are a number of problems in the software that Samsung has been forced to address. Now, there is also a hardware related issue that the South Korean company needs to deal with.
The fragility of the S-pen is the latest problem that has been reported by Galaxy Note 9 Users in large number. One of the key points that is used in differentiating between not only Note 9 and other Galaxy range but also between Note 9 and other competing phablets from other companies is the stylus. This year, the S-Pen was iterated, it is the first time in which this stylus uses Bluetooth connectivity. It is also able to open up several communication options hence better interactions.
For a good number of users, the S-pen has been very fragile – it has been breaking for the users, with several threads posted on the official forums, Twitter, XDA Developers, Reddit… The reports are being analysed by piunika web:
“It is worth to mention that there are some reports that say a none-fatal fall of the phone (like, on a carpeted floor) also lead to breaking of the S-pen. In some cases, Samsung has offered replacement of the broken styluses, but since the damage is a physical one, the affected users have found it very unpleasant in getting such approval.
