Towards the end of each year, we always get new flagship smartphones released by Techno. Normally, this device is classified under the Tecno Phantom series, and usually it is the most expensive product from the company. Last year, there was Tecno Phantom 8 in the market and it was sold for approximately $370.
The Techno Phantom 8 has replaced Techno phantom 6 and 6 plus in the market. Surprisingly, the company skipped phantom 7 and made a decision to go with phantom 8. The main reason for this was that, probably the one of the main need of the company was to ensure that the product is matching with the current android version (Android 8.0 Oreo) or with other smartphone companies such as Apple with the iPhone 8 or 8 Plus or Samsung with Note 8.
Tecno Phantom 8 is also not a cheap device, and by using this smartphone, you will be able to testify that it is worth its price. Every Tecno Phantom that is released yearly, there must be a great feature in it. This feature may be an improved version of a feature in the previous model, or a new feature and functionality. Tecno Company uses such features to market their new products. For example, Phantom 8 is being marketed by the company as a great camera smartphone with a Dual setup feature that is able to offer 10X digital zoom among other attractive features that you may think of in a smart phone.
As the customers are enthusiastically waiting for the Phantom 9, their main expectation is that the new Tecno smartphone will have new or improved features of great functionalities.
According to the relevant sources, this year, we may miss out a Phantom 9 or any Phantom device. Though it is not clear why this may happen, it is said that the company have no plans of bringing new phantom devices to the market. This is a big surprise to the customers as most of them have high expectations of buying new phantom smartphones at the end of every year.
This year, customers were expecting a new [phantom smartphone with aspect ratio of 18:9 and a notch. If they could have released such a device in the market, Tecno would have taken the advantage and use the device to sway customers from purchasing smartphones from its competitors.
However, in this year, there were some good devices from Tecno such as the Spark 2 which was the most top choice for the most customers. Some other good devices from the company include Camon X, Tecno F2 LTE, Tecno Camon CM, Tecno Pouvoir 2 among other products.
At the moment, the Camon devices are the most expensive products from the company, hence, expecting the phantom was not that crazy.
Another Camon Device?
Some months ago, the rumour had it that Tecno was about to introduce a new Camon Smartphone (the Camon 11) in the market before the end of the year. Most investors and buyers were not sure of what was going to take place since the company already had Camon CM and Camon X released in the market within the same year. It was not seemed to be feasible to release three Camon devices in one year. Now that there is no hope of seeing phantom 9 in the market this year, the existence of Camon 9 is very important.
This year, if we will not have the phantom 9 in the market, then we should hope that the next Phantom smartphone will be worth it.
