Delhi: As per the reports, Aam Aadmi Party chief and the Delhi Government’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was believed to be deeply upset, over the outcome of the fake degree case involving its former minister. Sources claim that the AAP government has been considering to sack the accused minister, for allegedly creating fake academic degrees.
Two senior leaders from the Aam Aadmi party opined that the former law minister could face expulsion from the party and the government. The top leaders in the party believes that Tomar has misled them in the fake degree allegations case.
One of the senior leaders from the AAP, said that they were mislead by the former law minister. It is understood from the senior politician that, the Party has asked him for the same when there were allegations behind him of the fake degree case to which Mr. Tomar has described it as a political conspiracy. “When we asked him to come clean on the whole issue, he said that it was a false allegation. He has even showed us his certificates, which we believed as genuine ones by their appearance. But, eventually, truth only wins”.
The senior party leaders said that the issue has been referred to the internal body in the party, which was powered to take a decision in this regard. The body consists of former IPS officer N Dilip Kumar, former DG CISF Rakesh Sinha and educationist S P Verma.
The party has also withdrawn the services of the senior lawyers Mr.Phoolka, as Tomar’s lawyer. An official statement in this regard will be made, after the lawyer returns from his tour of London, The Huffingtonpost reports.
” Our party leader (Arvind Khejriwal), was very upset over the case. Tomar was given a respectable position, with a strong belief in him. But, he has misused it. He could even be sacked from the party after the internal committee submits its report”, the party leader said.
