The government of Mexico has given out a warning that the Mexicans in the U.S.A will face “a new reality of life” after the expulsion of a mother of adolescent kids.
Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos, a mother of two, residing in Arizona was on Thursday deported; a day after she visited the check office – Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) located in Phoenix. She is said to be an unregistered migrant despite being a mother of two America-born offsprings.
She was detached from her young kids, who swore to keep struggling for her at an emotive news conference.
“Mrs. Garcia de Rayos case shows the fresh reality that Mexicans are putting up with in the United States. They are faced with the utmost severe relocation,” the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
“Due to this episode, the whole Mexican society is urged to be cautious and to retain close contact with their close consulate to be able to obtain the essential help in case they encounter a situation of this sort,” added the ministry. “It is essential that nationals acquaint themselves with the separate situations that they can encounter and know where to visit to get updated info and to be acquainted with all their freedoms and rights.”
The ministry also said that the administration in Mexico, its embassy in the U.S.A and the network of consular would continue to provide facilitation and defense to all Mexicans who need it irrespective of their status of immigration.
In 2008, Garcia de Rayos was arrested after a raid at her workplace and sentenced in 2009. The crime leading to the verdict was felony and criminal masquerade.
It is reported that she had been in possession of a fake social security number to stay in the U.S.
Garcia de Rayos attorney told members of the press that the attack was afterwards declared undemocratic.
Official Court papers obtained by journalists also put on view that Garcia had hitherto been directed to self-deport.
Human rights organizations have raised concerns over the matter, calling upon President Trump not to act in a manner that violates the freedom of immigrants.
