According to the media reports, Colonel Nizamuddin alias Saifuddin is confirmed to be the World’s oldest person to be alive.
Colonel Nizamuddin has just opened a bank account with the State Bank of India, with an ID proof showing his age as 116.
The old man, believed to be the driver and follower of the late freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose produced his voter card and passport before the authorities of the State Bank of India, while opening a joint account along with his wife at the age of 116.
According to the ID proofs, Colonel Nizamuddin was born in 1900. In February, this year, a Japanese man believed to be the World’s oldest person has passed away at the age of 114. That way, Colonel Nizamuddin becomes the oldest human being to be alive on this planet with an age of 116-years 3 months and 14 days on Sunday.
Another startling fact is that the Colonel’s wife, Ajbunisha, is 107-years old. Locals and the district administrators were delighted to know that Colonel Nizamuddin has achieved a feat of being the oldest man to be alive.
