The number of Donald Trump supporters are ever decreasing as days pass. This is happening even as more senior Republicans continue to dessert their presidential candidate.
A dozen of Republicans have confirmed that Mr. Trump should not expect their votes, since the emergence of his comments on Friday.
The self-acclaimed “Mr. President” said that there is no retreat neither is their surrender in the presidential race. He boldly confirmed that he will continue with the race and he also vowed not to let down his supporters.
Trump has been living under a very high and unfavorable pressure. This is after a certain tape from the year 2005 of him kissing some women was publicly aired through broadcast.
The former Secretary of the state, Condoleezza Rice and the former presidential candidate Mr. John McCain are among the latest supporters and known leaders who decided to withdraw their support.
Cording to McCain, the comments which are made by Trump results into impossibilities of going on with offering conditional supports for his candidacy.
Ms. Condoleezza on her said, “Enough! Donald Trump should not be President. He should withdraw.”
“I cannot and will not support a candidate for president who brags about degrading and assaulting women,” said the Hampshire Senator, Kelley Ayotte in one of her statements.
Ms. Kelly, who had also faced a very competitive race for re-election added that her vote won’t go for Mrs. Clinton but instead, she would bravely write in Mike Pence, the vice-presidential running mate of Mr. Donald Trump, on her ballot paper.
Some other large numbers of recognizable members of Republicans also claimed that they will only vote for Mike Pence.
Donald Trump himself added that he was getting “unbelievable” support from the US candidates and for that, he stressed that there exist “zero chance I’ll quit”.
On his tweet, the Republican presidential fighter claimed: “the media and establishment want me out of the race so badly”.
On Sunday, Mrs. Trump issued a statement in which she was quoted saying: “The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me.”
