The manager of Leicester City, Claudio Ranieri, said that his side was on course in the fight to win the Premier League title after setback draw of 2-2 against West Bromwich Albion.
Ranieri’s boys were unable to get the victory that would have boosted the lead of his side five points and thus encouraging his rivals.
But Ranieri has insisted his spirit is still undimmed as they get ready to play the remaining 10 games of the season, with Watford being the first team that they will face on Saturday’s trip.
He adds that they are even more confident now than they were after the thrilling 1-0 win over Norwich City.
The Italian said that, “It was a great game and I am happy with how we performed.”
“Only the goal missed but we created many chances. We got a little unlucky but my confidence is even more than our last match against Norwich.”
He said that in the Norwich match, they won but were not able create a lot of chances. But in their Bromwich match, the chances they created were more.
In a confidence building statement, the coach said that it was fine because having gained 4 points from 2 tough matches was okay. He did not fell short of noting that their spirit was high and were determined to fight again.
His source of happiness was not from them failing to get the three points but due to the fact that their performance was good.
Pulis a Leicester fan
Leicester has won over Tony Pulis to get themselves a new supporter even as they enter into the remaining 10 games challenge.
The head coach for West Bromwich said that Leicester city way of playing is somehow old fashioned as they cut across the field quickly, get their bodies into the box and get the balls far and wide. “They play a football that is exciting”.
He continued that, “the team is balanced, well set up, committed, and enthusiastic thus each Leicester supporter has every reason to be proud of their team.”
He hoped that Leicester will win the League adding that they are fantastic, have energy as well as effort. He also added that they do not stop making them brilliant. He said so adding that the one point was good for them but the league is over and “hope Leicester will win the title.”
Pulis added that, “Apart from West Bromwich, I am a Leicester supporter from now on until the season comes to an end. If they just keep believing and keep going, they will do it.”
