Leicester City is set to face Bromwich Albion even as they seek to continue with their extra-ordinary performance under the management of Claudio Ranieri in the Premier League title challenge.
Ranieri’s boldness came to pay off on Saturday while making critical substitutions that help them beat Norwich City 1-0 in the last minute.
The Italian coach is ready to continue with his series of good performance on Tuesday and get a second home win within four days and further better their chances of winning the premier league.
Leicester answered the question as to whether they are able to emerge winners of the title when they depicted calmness and full control of the game. That helped them to score in the 89th minute.
Their coach demonstrated courage when he sacrificed a defender and brought onboard a striker so that he could deploy a 3-5-2 system.
Speaking after the game, Ranieri said that “we had to win. Drawing would imply only one point which is nothing. Losing the game means one point less.”
He further added that he took the risk that a manger is hired to take. “I become happy when there is something I can do from my side and Saturday created one such moment for me.” It is fantastic to change and then the change to find the solution.
Ranieri may be forced to change his starting line-up in the match against West Bromwich because one of his stars, N’Golo Kante, is suffering a hamstring injury that he got while competing against Norwich.
Andy King will most likely replace the Frenchman after becoming a notable figure during the Saturday substitute. Danny Simpson is also available after his one match suspension got finished.
Ranieri said that Kante was well managed during the training session due to the fact that he felt something in his hamstring. He added that it is nothing serious and hoped he will soon be ready to continue playing. In addition, he said King was a good replacement of the French-player.
The coach said that win lifts their confidence as they get ready for a tough derb.
Captain Darren Fletcher said that playing the Premier League when your fitness level is low is quiet a tough thing to do. He also included that he has no problem with his current fitness but would have been much better if he could have been a little extra fit.
