Tiger Woods, a fourteen-time major winner said that the number of injuries in his body and the operations that he has undergone will never make him to feel great again. Woods has suffered several injuries during his career.
At the age of 41 years, Woods had pulled out of the Dubai Desert Classic because of a back spasm. This took place in the month of February before the second round. He later returned to action in December after undergoing two back operations, reports CNN.
“There have been plenty of times when I thought I would never participate in the game again at the elite level”, added Tiger, the winner of 79 titles on the PGA tour.
According to Tiger, it was more tough and more that brutal. There were times when he could need help just to get out of bed.
2015: Woods acknowledging for the first time publicly that his best days may be behind him
“I feel good, not great. I don’t think I will ever feel great because it’s three back surgeries and four knee operation. But what I know is that I am always going to be a little bit sore. As long as I can function, I’m fine with that.
Since 2013, Tiger has never won a tournament anywhere. His little drought in major championship can be dated back to the year 2008.
“There’s a changing of the guard,” said Tiger. “My generation is getting older but I am teeing up then the goal is to win.”
