Indian dashing batsmen and Test captain, Virat Kohli said in an interview to the media that he would not change his aggressive character for any one and even if any one asks him to do so.
The 26 Year old opined that, every individual has his own character and that could not be changed as it is his particular personality. He said ” I agree that there are a few qualities that a captain must possess like not putting emotions on face and being in the game despite of distractions like sledging, however i believe that a individual’s character is his own and cannot be changed for any one”.
He also slashed the Media for comparing him with other former captains like MS Dhoni. Kohli said ” I have just played a few games and please stop comparing. I will improve in a few regards but will not change my aggressive approach as a captain” he said.
When asked if the test cricket is in safe hands as presently all the test captains of the world teams are young, Kohli said ” Test cricket is always in safe hands if you play for a win rather than a draw”. He added that it was due to that instinct of the team, that many of the spectators turned up at the India vs Australia series, The Times of India reports.
