Google has now officially announced the new “undo feature” to all of its Gmail web and the Inbox app users. The new feature allows the users to terminate the email with in 30 seconds of sending them.
Google said in a statement that all the users using the Gmail services can activate the function from the settings menu. To activate the function the user has to open the General tab under the settings menu and then check the “enable undo function”. The users can also select the time period of the function, ranging between 5 to 30 seconds,
After sending a message from the Gmail, a yellow strip appears just below the screen giving a option to unsend the message. The screen bounces back to the original message after the user has chosen to unsend the sent message, allowing to re-edit or cancel the draft message.
The feature was previously available only to the users, who have enabled the “brave the Labs world” function. However, the service is now universal, the Huffingtonpost reports.
