Samsung Electronics has announced that it will provide details of Why Galaxy Note 7 Catch Fire on 23rd January. The firm will explain the cause of the regular fires in the Note 7 as it attempts to get over one of the biggest tech failures in history.
Samsung said its executives and independent experts will disclose their findings in a press conference in Seoul. Also expected at the announcement are measures taken to guarantee consumer safety and prevent reoccurrence of the problem.
Koh Dong-jin, the head of Samsung’s mobile businesses who made public the initial recall will be part of the briefing, reports CNN.
Reuter’s confidant reportedly exposed to the media agency that Samsung had learnt that battery problems was the major factor for the Note 7 fires.

The Korean-based company will have a rough time reassuring users that its products are safe. The catastrophe is projected to cost them $5.20 billion profits over three quarters.
Investors believe that if Samsung wants to successfully launch the much hyped Galaxy S8, then it must give a satisfactory explanation for the fires.
“They have to reestablish credibility and trust,” said Ma. “I also hope that they put a more human touch on the messaging this time to show consumers that they really care.”
At the initial recall stages, the firm had explained that a manufacturing problem had been responsible for the fire.
But then Samsung brought in new Note 7s that it said was safe considering the batteries manufacturer had been changed. However, these once again had a rough time and eventually the whole production was cut off. In October 2016, Samsung said that was examining all possible causes and hired third-party firms as part of its probe.
