Thought to be the anticipated Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 flip-phone smartphone, the Samsung SM-W2016 appeared in GFXBench benchmarks last month and has now been certified by Tenaa. The listing fails to show images of the handset but lists some of its specifications.
As per the Tenaa listing, the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 features two 3.9 inch HD (768×1280 pixels) resolution displays. This opposes the GFXBench results that indicated an inclusion of 4.6 inch HD display. The smartphone would house 64GB of in-built storage, and would run an octa-core 1.2GHz processor under-the-hood, clubbed with 3GB RAM.
As per the listing via Phonearena, the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 will feature a 13 megapixel rear camera, and the front-facing camera will be 5 megapixels. It weighs 204grams and would be 15.1mm thick – 0.7mm slimmer than the Galaxy Golden, its predecessor.
Due to the fact that the original Galaxy Golden carried the model number SM-W2014, the SM-W2016 is being called as the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3.
Earlier this month, Samsung launched its new Galaxy On series smartphones – the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 in India. These smartphones (4G LTE-supporting) feature nearly the same specifications with the exception of different processors and different screen sizes.
